Following our 2024 success of winning four sustainability awards, including the NNBN Green Award, where Lee Barron was present at the awards ceremony in October last year, Lee was keen to meet us. Lee wanted to learn more about a company based in his own constituency, which operates in the UK’s built environment industry as well as learning more about our sustainability efforts.

During the meeting, we were proud to share with Lee and his parliamentary assistant, James Soper, some of our recent international projects. These projects showcased our distribution and fabrication capabilities of decorative laminate materials, as well as the sustainable materials that we champion within our product portfolio. Such as BioCarbon Laminates, the UK’s first zero-carbon driven laminate being selected as the material of choice for the new washroom facilities at JFK Airport, New York, and SanFoot® Real Wood Veneer being the perfect match for The Londoner, a super boutique hotel in the heart of Leicester Square.

We’re proud of our achievements as a business based in Northamptonshire, and in the past year we’ve enjoyed participating and engaging with the local business community, including joining the Northamptonshire Chamber of Commerce, the Northampton Sustainability Accord as well as collaborating with the Sustainable Business Alliance on our sustainability reporting project.

This meeting enabled us to share what great conversations and collaborations are taking place amongst local businesses, especially on the topic of sustainability, as well as us learning about the areas of priorities for Lee, since winning the Corby and East Northamptonshire seat in July 2024.

The visit was a great opportunity to shine a light on what we do as a business based in Corby, Northamptonshire. To learn more about See Limited, please visit our news section, to keep up to date with our latest activities.
