Celebrating International Women’s Day at See Limited

Jayden Whitworth

At See Limited, we are proud to celebrate International Women’s Day by recognising the incredible contributions of women in the built environment industry.

While this industry has been traditionally male-dominated, women continue to break barriers, challenge the status quo, and bring innovation and progress.

International Women’s Day (IWD) has been a day of action and celebration for over 100 years. It started with women fighting for their rights, over time, it has grown into a global movement. IWD is a chance to highlight progress, recognise challenges, and work towards a more equal world.

This IWD, we want to take a moment to recognise and appreciate the talented women within See Limited and our operating businesses Performance Panels and Bousfields, who contribute to the ongoing development of the Group.

Their hard work, passion, and dedication are invaluable, and their contributions continue to shape the success of See Limited.

Danielle Redgate, Marketing Director, recently attended an IWD discussion at the Northamptonshire Business Exhibition by the Northamptonshire Chamber of Commerce.

The discussion was centred around this IWD’s theme of accelerating action, Danielle said: “International Women’s Day is a time to celebrate the incredible contributions of women around the world, and to reflect on the strides we still need to make toward gender equality.

“The panel discussion explored how businesses can accelerate action for women in business, sparking some truly important conversations. It was an inspiring session, and I’m proud to be a part of the Northamptonshire business community, who have a shared commitment in driving meaningful change.”

While days like this are important to take a step back and reflect on the progress we have taken, it is important to not lose sight of the fact that there is still a long way to go. It is projected that the gender pay gap will not close completely for another 130 years.

Together we can build an industry that values inclusivity and where gender equality is the norm.
